it's 7 am. the first alarm has gone off, so it's time for giyuu to start his morning routine. he no longer needed his own alarm, since living with shinazugawa, since the man liked hitting snooze all damn morning. there was never any point in sleeping in, whether it was a day off or his schedule had some afternoon classes thrown in here and there. it was best for everyone involved that he woke up at 7.
every morning is, more or less, the same.
he gets up, showers, brushes his teeth and starts to make himself a pot of tea.
at 7:45, the third snooze alarm is hit and giyuu prepares the coffee grounds. if the breakfast he is preparing is sturdier than usual he would begin. he glances outside, the weather looked reasonable and clear- no need for anything too heavy, so he'll just focus on the coffee prep first.
8:00 is when giyuu puts the pot on, exhaling his first sigh on the morning.
now is when he starts on breakfast, the sizzling of the fried eggs and bacon was a far better sound than the incessant sounds coming from shinazugawa's room.
8:15 is when breakfast is served neat on two plates, a steaming cup of coffee beside one, a third cup of tea next to the other. and this morning he has a side plate of seasonal fruit, freshly ripe and cut. wordlessly giyuu takes his seat, a wary gaze focusing on the entrance of the kitchen. usually the other man gets fed up, or the tempting smells from the kitchen rouses him. this was the preferred method of waking him.
if not, he'd have to get creative. ]

uuuuunfortunately, that's much easier said than done, even with his insurance of five alarms.
the first and second alarms run their full course, only stopping when it comes time to transition to the next. he's heard them enough times by now that they don't register as proper alarms. although he doesn't quite stir, he does instinctively roll over to make himself comfortable.
the third and forth are where he starts to look mildly discontented, tossing and turning a few times with his brows in a deep-seated v. … save for several fairly loud bangs, he's ultimately successful when he moves to silence them.
as for the fifth— well. ostensibly, he has less finesse a quarter awake than he is when he's unconscious. and the result of that? he ends up taking a tumble down the side of his bed as he tries to shut it off for the third time.
it still doesn't fully wake him up though, seemingly content enough to fall back asleep as is. ]
